I had absolutely NOTHING on my calendar today, it made me think of the endless free time that I'm bound to have since two more commitments of mine are gone.
For the last 3 years I have participated in a "joy school" type preschool (think: all the joy without the expensive curriculum). GT#1 was in a group with one other boy and three girls. Last year, GT#1 and GT#2 were in a group with 4 other boys. This year GT#2 was in a group with 4 boys (3 the last half). Anyway, Tuesday was my last day teaching GT#2's group. The 2007-2008 year truly was a joy, when it wasn't my turn to teach. May I suggest if you want to do this sort of thing, mix the group up a bit. I had the best experience when we had both girls and boys.
Also, my babysitting gig ended this last Tuesday. Those two days each week will now be just a little quieter at our house.

That's got to feel so good to have a more open schedule. I'm am so UNBUSY compared to my usual schedule, and I'm liking it so much, I think I'll make it my new schedule. Happy Summer Vacation!
