Summer: Week 11

Good Thing #1 started practicing for flag football this week. He is a head taller than any other boy on his team. After his first practice he asked if he could resign. When I asked why he said, he didn't really want to play with first and second graders who were so much smaller than him. I let him know that they are all in his grade, and that this was a great sport for him.

This week we played at the SCERA park in Orem. We were happy Grandma Gibby could come too.


On Friday we headed to the Highland splash park. I visited with my friend Allison while the kids mostly played. In the evening I took the boys to a reading reward party hosted by the library. It seemed that the whole of Spanish Fork was there as the swimming pool was super crowded.

Saturday morning the two oldest and I went to Lindon to help my dad in the city parade. His district includes North Orem and all of Lindon. We weren't in the parade, but walked along the route where we passed out pencils. We had a great time.
