Bruises, School, and other Fun

My poor little girl spent last week with a bruised cheek and black eye. She had an unfortunate collision with this bench at Smiths.

The good news is that we got some great grocery deals before the accident. The coloring was probably the worst on Monday, which is also the day she wandered from home out to the busier street (where she was looking for her big brother). Some nice ladies found her and helped her home.

The big boys started school on Tuesday the 24th. So far so good for both of them.

Doesn't she look so innocent?

On Friday this little girl walked down to the school to find me. I was there with GT#3 who was doing his kindergarten assessment. She was quite close to the school. I'm so glad I spotted her while on my way home.

On Saturday we spent a couple hours at the Grand Opening of North Park here in town.

Activities included lunch and junk food, a carousel, bouncy house, an army tank, a barrel train, playground, princesses and water fountains.

(My daughter would be the one sticking her behind into the fountain).

You shouldn't let dad babysit or the kids wander off.
