Things to Note:
**I took GT's #3 and #4 to a Cradled in Literacy Workshop this last month. It was a 4 week program sponsored by our local School District to encourage reading readiness. I didn't learn anything new, but I did enjoy spending time doing reading and writing activities with my almost 4 year old. He was the perfect age for this class. The first week reading was emphasized, the second week we did all sorts of writing activities, the third week we shared "All About Me" books and did activities with patterns and textures, and the fourth week we sang songs.
**On Thursday the 26th I took all of the kids to the BYU Museum of Arts Walter Wick Exhibit. It was crazy busy, but I only lost my kids once so I count it as a successful trip. The boys enjoyed looking at the models and posted art work. They also enjoyed the free milk and cookies and game tables. I was pretty excited to get our book autographed, and to meet a friend of my dad's who gave us another book.
**I know people have been doing this for years, but for the first time in a long time I played a game with my kids at night (as opposed to sending them to their rooms to read, or downstairs to play). Gabe got in the mood too, and suggested a puzzle. We spent the next few hours (hey were not geniuses) putting the only non-kid one we own together. It was fun doing something totally different. Thanks for not making fun.
