2 Things I love (add them to my list)

1- I really enjoy a good corned beef. I say "good" because they have potential to be too fatty and too tough. A good corned beef though is delicious. Gabe introduced me to Ruben sandwiches and when well put together (again with good corned beef) they are so so good. I was bummed yesterday since St. Patricks Day came and went without me snagging a couple well priced corned beefs. I was still thinking about my lack of corned beef this afternoon when I remembered a free birthday meal card I had from
Sign up for a free B-day meal here. I have to tell you I was served a superb Ruben sandwich with an overabundance of delicious corned beef. If anyone is suffering from corned beef denial head to The Smokehouse and pray you get the cook I got. My sandwich was delicious and just what I needed.

2- I really love the uncooked tortillas you buy and cook yourself. I can't tell you how much I enjoy them. They make boring old bean burritos and chili worth eating and other more delicious Mexican fare so so good. I think Costco has them for the best price but you can find a brand of them anywhere.

I agree with all of it . . . except for the part about corned beef.

Dave loves a good corned beef too but I always manage to get the tough/fatty ones. Mostly because they gross me out and I grab it and run. We do corned beef and cabbage every Sunday closest to St. patricks day and invite the parents (my dad loves it too). My mom and I grill a chicken breast. Anyhoo...so do tell, where can one score a delish corned beef to make at home? I'll also pass along the Smokehouse info to Dave.

We love the uncooked tortillas. Way superior to other store bought ones. Someday I will buy fresh uncooked ones from Tenoctilan.
