Good Couponing

I think by now you all know that I really enjoy a good grocery deal. One of my hobbies is saving $ by faithfully collecting the Sunday newspaper coupons, and then clipping and organizing them.

Though, I enjoy the results, I don't enjoy the mess:

Despite the coupon inserts that haunt my dreams, I can't help but love a good shopping trip. The other day I went to Walgreens and picked up: 2 BioInfusions shampoo's, 1 Organix Shampoo, 1 PertPlus Shampoo, 4 Axe Body washes, 1 Jane foundation make-up, a 4-pk of light bulbs, 8 pkgs of gum, and a 3 pk of baby bottles. By using a couple of coupons, and taking advantage of in store promotions and mail-in rebates I came out $1.06 ahead, and I scored 2 movie tickets.

Getting paid at the store doesn't happen very often, but it sure makes me happy. I know it is a little lame, but you know there are worse hobbies.

I never have felt so stupid cause I still don't get it. I don't know why it's so tough for me to figure it out. I'm totally a smart person, right?
