To save some cash (you pay by the page) I took out some posts and also *sadly* the comments (I'm not made of money people). The book cost me an additional $23 which came from my super secret off shore paypal account, so it was almost like it never happened.
I'm really pleased with the results though. The book is not perfect. The pictures don't always line up with the text very well, and I left a post with a video in which I should have deleted, but overall it is great. I did see that my sarcasm/wit doesn't carry over in a book form very well. Such is life though. I'm anxiously waiting for said life to allow me to order a 2009 and 2010 book sometime soon. (I'm not holding my breath).

Oh! I wish I'd found that coupon!
Lucky! I always check groupon. Its a nice idea to make a blog book. I don't do much scrapbooking or journaling and now that we dont have Internet I don't blog. :( If I was good at blogging like you, I totally would save up for a blog book. But yay for you that there was the deal got to love those groupons I sure do.
I was just reading your 100 Things about you and they made me smile. Thanks for sharing I really enjoy reading your blog.
I just recently printd out first blog book as well. Also 2008. I did mine on Blurb. NOT pleased. Similar reasons are you mentioned, but at least yours looks to be a decent size. Mine came out pretty small. Oh well, will keep searching for something amazing for 2009's...
