Summer: Week 3

We had a fun filled week, though very few pictures to show for it. I took the kids to Seven Peaks water park on Monday. I had the whole crew for the first hour then dropped the little guys off at my moms and returned with the boys. We had a great time. Good Thing #1 braved the Free Fall, Sky Breaker, and Jagged Edge. GT #2 took a turn on the Jagged Edge. I did the Free Fall and Sky Breaker, neither of which were worth the wedgies. We did well by our free admission, just a little sunburn action, $5 for parking, $3 for tube rentals, and $2 in bribes to get the kids on the big slides.

Tuesday park day took us to the Discovery Park in PG. My kids love it there. We stayed so long we had to move our blanket 3 times to keep the shade. I treated the kids to an ice cream at Arctic Circle afterwards. I'm all about making memories.

On Saturday we headed to PG again to help my dad in the Strawberry Day's parade. We were there with other prominent politicians...Lee, Bridgewater, Anderson. Our T-shirts were better than theirs. We had a great time. My kids loved handing out candy and riding in the army truck. It didn't hurt that they also got popscicles and ice cream cones, again (making memories, people).

This picture is dejavu, sort of....
