Facebook 2009

I admit I find Facebook entertaining. I try to limit my time there by avoiding all applications, games, surveys, etc. One however, caught my eye. It was a collage of all your statuses. I copied these from the application. It was fun for me to read over them again. Especially since they are another little journal for me. For instance that day I went to the Jazz game I remember Gabe and I talking about having another baby. I thought for sure that was like November of 2008 or something! I can't believe it was really just a year ago. Anyway, for my benefit more than for anyone else:

January
-Emily has no Sunday responsibilities to prepare for, weird.
-Emily wonders when she will see her front walkway again.
-Emily wonders if she is a bad mom since she won't drive her son to school.
-Emily thinks "Mansfield Park" is about 200 pages too long
-Emily is thinking about that mile she was suppose to run tonight. Is it too late?
-Emily is jealous of those who get Friday date nights
-Emily is at a Scout training mtg. My butt is starting to hurt
-Emily is at her first ever Jazz game. I don't get out much
-Emily is gearing up to turn 32.
-Emily ran 6 miles last night, just to make sure her old body could still do it. (Thanks for letting me brag. It is my b-day after all)
February
-Emily really likes "the office."
-Emily is almost ready to face the day
-Emily wonders if anyone knows where her husband is.
-Emily wishes she would have exercised earlier. Oh well, off to the treadmill I go
-Emily wonders if anyone has a yellow hat she can borrow. (you know like what Curious George's friend wears)
-Emily is suffering from an earache. This is payback for being unsympathetic to my kids ear woes over the last 8 years
-Emily has wished many times that she could just lay in bed and do nothing. She finally got her wish, but is bored to death
-Emily is turning off the computer. Goodbye cyberspace, hello face to face interaction.
March
-Emily spent the morning cleaning out 10 years of stuff at her mom's house.
-Emily missed Sarah this morning. Turbo Jam is way more fun than scrubbing the floor
-Emily is playing Webkinz
-Emily is sitting in the back seat between two car seats. Not going crazy yet, but the crying just started
-Emily is playing in a production of Messiah tonight. It is with the prestigious group, "Salem West Stake."
-Emily thinks her dollar would have been better spent on a diet coke with crushed ice than on Twilight from the Redbox
April
-Does anyone in my neighborhood have a lemon I can use? I'll pay you back tomorrow.
-Emily is sitting at Big-O with some of my kids. Stupid tires
-Emily is happy the "Kindy Car" is 90% finished. Good thing we have afternoon kindergarten, we'll need the morning to finish it up
-Emily's spring break day 1 plans were ruined by the weather. The kids were almost consoled by a candy bar each and a red box movie. Oh, and my new tire is flat. Stupid tires
-Emily's spring break day 2 was a success; McDonalds with cousins and 3 + hours of swimming afterwards. What a day
-Emily's day 3 Spring Break plans were a success. Bean Museum and lunch at BYU
-Emily can't talk now, I'm on my way to see "Wicked."
-Emily is all caught up on the Office.
May
-Emily is updating her status from her iPhone for the last time. I'm trading it for a way less impressive model.
-Emily is so glad she is now friends with her husband. I've been waiting for this moment for years.
-Emily Just spent the last two hours watching clips of "Wicked" on youtube. I meant to watch just a few minutes but was sucked in.
-Emily is playing personal assistant for Gabe and is looking for a sub for Sunday...3rd hour, teaching 6 year olds. Anybody want to volunteer their husband?
-I can't prove it yet, but I think my son peed in his sister's boot. That's what I get for telling him to go to his room and not come out for anything!
June
-I'm sorry, but Breyers Natural Ice Cream kicks butt
-Emily is sick.
July
-T-ball is over. What should we do next? I vote for swim lessons.
-Emily just spent 2 hours reading. Don't I have 4 kids and a house to run?
-Emily has yet to find a decent hamburger this pregnancy.
August
-9 Great Years of Marriage today. Happy Anniversary to me.
-Busted! My son found a card he had made for me in the garbage.
-I was told today that I was a cute pregnant lady. Sometimes the world is so kind.
September
-No Christmas present for Gabe this year. He lost the contest. Thanks for your votes everyone.
-Anybody going to the RS retreat at like 5 or 5:30? And if so, can I catch a ride? I'm fun, I promise.
-Someone please shoot me! Every 40 seconds my smoke detector beeps. I have changed the batteries many times and removed them all together, and nothing helps!
October
-Peanut Butter M&M's, why must you tempt me so?
-I sprayed the weeds and for spiders. I hope my baby doesn't come out with two heads.
-Anybody seen my husband lately?
-Anybody going to Ikea soon? There is a frame there that I want...but it seems a bit silly to drive all the way there for a $12.99 item. (and no I can't buy it online)
-I'm looking for one frame that holds 3- 5x7 pictures. Has anyone seen one around town?
-Hoping that hosting my son's 8th Birthday party this afternoon will put me into labor.
-Guess who is having a baby tomorrow? That would be me.
-Baby #5 is possibly our cutest baby yet.
-Elisabeth is outnumbered 4 to 1.
November
-Severus just killed Dumbledore. Why do I still find that shocking?
-I'm trying to love Crystal Light as much as I love Diet Coke. It is not going so well.
-I wish every time I drank diet coke I got a little bit thinner.
-Anybody in my neighborhood going to the post office today?
December
-After a short walk 3 out of my 5 children were crying.
-Just finished listening to Harry Potter 7. Everything makes perfect sense now.
-I just found my front door. I'm sure it will be lost again in the morning.
-Drinking diet coke straight out of the 2 Liter bottle. It has been one of those days.
-"Calling all Baugh's" if you have extra candy lying around bring it to Ephraim for the pinata.
-Just wondering if the Bird's are going to outdo everyone again this year!
-Mourning my Netflix cancellation.
-It was declared the best Christmas ever again this year. Lucky for us it doesn't take much to please our kids!
-Off to Idaho, please don't rob my house.
-Was told yesterday that I looked good for having 5 kids. Sometimes the world is so kind.

Delightful to read. I'm happy to know I made someone's facebook status--and in a good way. Hope to see you tomorrow for Turbo Jam:)
