Our last month of Summer flew by. Some fun things we did included:
-Hiking Mt. Timpanogos: Jacob, Samuel and I hiked with Aunt Julie and super friend Heather. It was not an easy hike for my boys, but they were awesome. I was so so proud of them for doing something hard like this.

-Getting another cat: Grandma Gunderson brought "Socks" to us from Idaho. Supposedly she is from the same litter as "Charcoal." The two went through quite the adjustment period, but are pretty good friends now. We thanked grandma, but I was sure to tell her we didn't need any more cats from Idaho.
-Visiting the Discovery Gateway Children's museum:
-Staying overnight in Park City: Gabe and I had a little get a way to celebrate his birthday.
-Riding the train to Ogden: Some of the kids attended a family party while Gabe and I were away.
-Roller skating- Well, some of us roller skated. Others rode scooters or sat in their stroller. I will never be in Starlight Express and that makes me a little sad.-Visiting Liberty Park and Tracy Aviary: The kids rode a couple rides and played in the water, while my mom and I watched.
-Starting school: 1st, 3rd, 5th and 6th grades, baby!
-Half Marathon running: I won another race entry, this one for the Moonlight Half Marathon in Mapleton. The goal was to finish at midnight, without using any timing devices. I highly recommend this race for slow runners like myself. Such fun to be part of the winning crowd and not just a slow finisher at the end. I came in at 11:56 pm, so no prize for me.
-Playing at Seven Peaks: We had a fun final day with cousins.
-Kimchi cooking: Why? Because, why not? Gabe wanted to make it so he had the boys help him one night. Our house smelled like Korea for a week.
-Birthday celebrating: Elisabeth had her 6th birthday. The day was spent going out to eat for breakfast, watching football games (Jacob's and BYU's), attending cousin Asa's baptism, and in the evening opening presents and eating donuts.

-Other activities not pictured: Celebrating an Anniversary, starting football for the 3 oldest, a trip to trafalga, a final park day, and watching cousin Luke for a couple of days. It was a busy and full month, for sure!
