June Happenings

Summer has treated us well so far.  Things to note include....

-The Kitty Diaries
Elisabeth chose a super cute kitty to bring home from Grandpa Gundersons.  The first night home, Gabe was up at all hours trying to keep her in her new home.  The next day I spent all hours trying to keep her in her new home.  The third day home I cleared all non-essential things out of the garage (including the van) so that we could find her more easily (best hider ever).  By the eighth day we trusted that she wouldn't wander too far, so we had to do a lot less kitty sitting.   Sadly on the tenth day she got hit by a car.  We were all so so sad.  Elisabeth stills cries about her kitty but is usually comforted when we tell her Snowflake (full name: Snowflake Snowy Gunderson) is with Grandma Gibby.  She usually follows up with, "When is the resurrection?" or "How long until Jesus comes?" and "Will we see her again then?"
I'm now converted to a cat as a pet, and we are going to try again after our fence gets put in.
-Summer Park Days with cousins and grandma resumed
We went to Discovery Park, Scera Park, the Springville splash pad, and the Provo splash pad.
-The boys participated in all sorts of Camps
