A couple of things about our April....
-The kids played in a giant box
-Eve and I went to Jacob's 5th grade program....I may have gotten a little teary eyed during their rendition of "We're Coming to America."
-We watched Elisabeth play soccer
-We watched the Kindergarten egg drop, Elisabeth's did not break.
-Jacob reached one of his goals- "Have my artwork framed at the school." Other goals include "Go into every room in the school" and "Be on the 'Great Kid's' Wall."
-Ben turned 8 years old and got to attend his first Pack Meeting on his birthday.
He chose powdered donuts and ice cream sandwiches for a treat.
-Kids had fun with dad cooking tinfoil dinners while I was recovering from running the Thanksgiving Point half marathon.
-Eve learned to climb onto the kitchen chairs.
-Jacob held auditions for his band. Two girls sang a country song, a gal played an african drum, a boy played a song on his keyboard, and one other boy brought his recorder, but got too shy to try-out.
-Jacob & Samuel played in a piano recital
-Jacob & Samuel started baseball, Ben started coach pitch, & I started softball
-We kept busy with school work, scouts, and other necessary evils.
