March Wrap-Up

Obviously the highlight of March was the arrival of Good Thing #6. The only other things that happened this month were:

SEP conferences (great report from all of the teachers), piano, Cub Scouts- field trips and den mtgs, starting of soccer for the big boys, a new preschool for GT#4 (preschool lab at SFHS), lunch dates with friends, toe nail painting, Trafalga trip, homework, housework, play with friends, basketball hoop being moved to the street, and miscellaneous church stuff. When we weren't doing those things we were:

-Helping Good Thing #2 with his classroom science fair
His blurry project (hmm, smudge on the camera perhaps?) was figuring out what was the best value of french fries between Burger King and McDonalds. For future reference, you get the most bang for your buck with the McDonalds large fries, but everyone (the kids) in our very scientific survey thought the Burger King fries tasted better, so your best bet there is to buy the medium fries. You're welcome, everybody.

-Keeping out of Mom's hair
The kids all spent their fair share of the month taking care of themselves. (I was a tired mommy) This is Good Thing #3's creation. I'm pretty lucky to have one child that is content to spend time playing with toys.

Taking naps-
Most school days, GT #5 and I enjoyed a nap. Our afternoon routine usually included #4 playing next door (thanks Rindee!) while #5 and I rested. On this particular day #4 was in trouble so she had to join us rather than play with her friend. Thank goodness for king sized beds so that we could all find a spot.

-Attending cousin Caleb's MDA walk- the kids went with Grandma and Grandpa Baugh
And,
-Making final preparations for the baby
Groceries purchased, laundry washed, rooms cleaned, bag packed, anxiously waiting...check, check, check
