Good Traditions

Once upon a time my grandma made my big sister a dress:

Later I got my picture taken in the dress as did my little sister:


As the grand-girls got to be about the right age my mom had them each try it on and snap a picture. Finally it was my little sweet heart's turn:




There are only 7 grand-daughters on the Baugh side, compared to a whopping 17 grand-sons, so I think it is pretty neat that Good Thing #4 got to be a part of this tradition. She felt pretty special wearing a dress that I wore when I was a little girl and was a good sport getting her picture taken.

On a side note, I blame my mother for my need to have each of my boys wear the same outfit for a picture. Maybe I'll make my grandsons wear it in a picture, too.
