-Funny conversation tonight with a woman who couldn't believe I had 5 kids. "But you look so pretty!" She was also in awe that I didn't drink, and had been with my husband for 11 years, and wondered if I lived on a farm. (Polygamy was also mentioned, but I set her straight on that). Fun times here in Chicago. 8/9
-I feel myself getting sucked in. #AmericanGirl 8/9
-Looking down from the Willis tower (though it will always be Sears to me) 8/10
-Liberal use of the horn here in downtown Chicago. 8/11
-No longer the whitest trash in the neighborhood. Dead car is gone. 8/19

-Told my daughter that if she didn't get back to bed it wouldn't be her birthday tomorrow. It's totally reasonable to take away your only daughter's 4th birthday, right? 8/30
