Last week I had a fun surprise when I attended the Bair family reunion. (The Bair's are my dad's mom's family). My dad's cousin has a son Todd, who reads my blog. At the reunion he gifted me a dozen eggs and a Milky Way candy bar. His family raises chickens and found my chicken stories funny. He also noticed number #73 of my 100 things about me list. I was really impressed by this thoughtful gift, I mean most people stopped reading around #35. We quite enjoyed the fresh eggs. I think this is a great example of different generations connecting over a simple thing like a family blog. I guess I figured only my immediate family and friends cared about my good things, it was fun to meet someone else who had an interest in my family.
