May Happenings (in part)

Good Thing #1 participated in the Mayor's Prayer Breakfast for the Provo Freedom Festival. Some boys from our pack presented the flag ceremony. Word is that they did a fantastic job. I'm glad he got to be a part of it. He enjoyed being with friends, eating at the hotel afterwards, and being late to school.


This past year I've been a part of a neighborhood preschool group (5th year in a row). I've been lucky to teach some cute kids and have my kids be taught by some great ladies over the years. One of our favorite activities is visiting Farm Country with our preschool friends.




In other news fishing Class came to an end. For 6 weeks Good Things #1 and #2 participated in an Urban Fishing experience. They had a good time and were successful in catching fish most class periods. The last day they had a family dinner. Gabe told the boys he would pay the kids $1 for every fish they caught that night. GT#1 earned $1 and GT#2 earned $3.
