I just wanted to get everyone's attention. I need my dryer repaired. The door doesn't stay closed so we have been taping it shut for the last 3 months. Well, that little trick is not working anymore. Now it pops open but still heats threatening to catch fire and burn us all to death.
Does anyone have a recommendation for an appliance repairman? My last experience, cold calling, didn't end up so well (I was without a dishwasher for MONTHS!).
Thanks!

Daveramsey.com check to see if he has a dryer ELP :)
I don't have any recommendations for you, but you are very welcome to come use my dryer in the mean time. Serious. I'll call you.
My parent's know an excellent repair mane in the area. I'll talk to my mom after school today and get his name...unless you have found someone already.
This may sound funny but the guy I dated before I met George was the son of Dan the Maytag Man. He was a great repair man. You could call Maytag? They fix everything even if it's not Maytag. Or I could give you his number...I still have it.
P.S. I totally forgot about Joy School yesterday! So Sorry! Don't tell Audrey she'll be so sad she missed it!
That stinks, sorry. We are getting a list of items needing attention I relate to your cry for help. With our appliances I always call SEARS (and I say always because we've had microwave, dryer, washer, refrigerator, dishwasher, problems at one time or another. They seem to be good priced, reliable, and with certain things offer warranties on their work. Good luck!
I have no recommendations. I just feel for you cuz my is a piece of @#*& too. heehee
ALPEDIO!!!
OOPS! I forgot to ask. DO you still need one? I'll find out today if you do.
