I loved that Halloween fell on a Friday night. I wish it could be held on a Friday every year. We had great night trick-or-treating (or "halloweening" as Good Thing #3 called it) around our neighborhood, though there were some "dead-ends" as my kids called them (no one home, and no candy bowls on the porch). I really love where we live. The day was fun filled with costumes, Halloween parades, class parties, pumpkin carving, and candy gathering. And though both the big boys wanted to be Indiana Jones, I think everyone was ok with the costumes they ended up with.
Good Thing #3 said the day before Halloween, "It's taking so long for Halloween to come." Come it did, and what a fun day it was.
