Does anyone want to do a Jane Austen book club with me? I've only read half of Austen's books and want to read the rest of them. You know what though? I can't remember which I've read and which I've just seen as movies. So, anyone want to read one every month (or every six-weeks) with me?
I miss our book club too, so maybe we could start a new and kind of different one.
Let me know what you think....
BTW, the book pictured is the complete works of Jane Austen and sells for $12.99 at Deseret Book. I plan on buying one tomorrow (with a 25% off coupon, of course).

I do! I've read most of them (in fact Jeanine has my Austen collection right now and I know she'd love to do the club too). It's hard reading but I can totally get into it and I'd love a refresher. Let me know the deets.
I have always thought it would be fun to start a "snobby" book club. Snobby onky in the sense that we read justthe classics. It's been years since I've read that sort of genre and it wouold be fun to brush up on it again. Anyway, sorry to hog your comments but this is bringing me back to my college English days...so exciting! (yes, I'm a geek).
I'm totally in!!! I love the Jane Austin movies and I am a little ashamed to admit that I have NEVER read one of her books.
Let me know what the first book is going to be and where we will meet. You know I'm always up for offering my house for a meeting.
Ummmmmmmm, yes. I am an Austen junkie. Read them all at least once a year, but have only done one for a book club. I'd love to get other perspectives. Love them--want to do it.

You find time to read? And you have twice as many kids as I do!
Like Randi said, I've borrowed her books and apparently i need some motivation cuz I'm having a hard time getting started. let me know what you decide to do.
I know this post was for girls that live by you but....let me know when you read Sense and Sensibility. That is the only one I havent read and will read.
