November Happenings

Not a lot of excitement this month, mainly because I was feeling pregnant....close, but not.  Such a difficult place to be.  The amount of pictures I took really reflects that.

Here are a few things to note:
Liz participated in the school reflections contest.  The theme was, "The World Would be a Better Place If..." Her work was, "If everyone had a family."
In sadder news, this is what homework often looked like.
This will cheer you up though.  Eve eating the pumpkin tops.

We ate Thanksgiving dinner with the Gunderson's this year. After dinner a bunch of them went to shoot guns.
And...when your parents have to get mortgage papers signed and mailed in you sometimes have to be placated with italian gelato.

A fun thing that did happen this month was Gabe surprised me with an overnight getaway to Park City.  He had a neighbor text me not to make dinner, then Dana showed up at the house and Gabe came home with pizza.  He and I grabbed a bag and headed out the door.  We stayed at this beautiful resort called the Montage in Deer Valley.  It was a nice welcomed treat.  I want to go back and take advantage of the spa there.  I walked through it before we left and it looks like a dream.  The pool area was beautiful too.

I had purchased BYU football tickets for that weekend.  I couldn't find anyone who wanted the 4 tickets (combination of COLD weather and a crummy opponent).  My neighbor ended up taking Jacob and Ben though and the other tickets went to waste.
