July 8th, 2003 I gave birth to one heck of a kid. He was my fastest and best labor by far. Could be that he is my only child to make it to 40 weeks (and then some). We like to say that he just loved being in my tummy so much that he didn't want to come out. When he was forced to leave he weighed in at 8 lbs 11 oz. He was the CUTEST chunkiest baby around. Seriously, a favorite with aunts, uncles, and grandpas. He was affectionately called "Baby Buddha" by some of them.
Samuel is a great kid. We are so lucky to have him in our family. Happy Birthday!
