January Happenings

January is the long cold month that everyone loves to hate.  It was a little long and totally cold, but it wasn't all bad.  We managed to find a few things to smile about...

-This little girls reached a milestone.  Every baby of ours eventually climbs onto this furniture.  Rite of passage, for sure.
-We had a fun Saturday with our cousins.  We went to Nicklecade, lunch, then played dodgeball.  The little ones found the church nursery and entertained themselves in the foyer while the preteens, teens, and adults got our game on.
-This little girl continued to be cute.  I walked into my bedroom one morning and found her like this.
-Samuel participated in wrestling again.  These 2 spent the matches doing a little wrestling, too.
-Jacob got his Science Fair project finished.  His experiment was to see if carnations with different lengths of stems drew water at different rates.  They do, and for your information he determined that the longer stems pull the water up faster.
-I found these gems in a purging of Ben's room.
-This girl is both cute and sweet....except when chomping down on her mother with those big teeth (all 8 of them!)
-And because she's currently my cutest child, another of Eve.
-One evening Liz laid down in my bed, then Joseph joined her.  Before falling fast asleep she said, "Where will dad sleep?"  Funny kids.
-And, at the end the month I celebrated my birthday with a little of this and that:

Not a bad month at all.
