November Happenings

Not much happened this month in our home. Some things to note:

-The boys all participated in the school Reflections contest. They couldn't believe they didn't win, but were pleased with the ribbons they received and ice cream party they got to attend.

(GT #1's entry is unpictured, he cut it up before bringing it home, as it was a BYU/UofU submission. He removed the UofU portion.)
-It was confirmed that I am indeed carrying either a girl or boy baby. I had my 20 week ultrasound, but I didn't find out the gender. What do you think....boy or girl?

-One afternoon I got to see my dear friend Heather. I've known her since kindergarten. I had recently been feeling a little "woe is me" but Hed reminded me that I'm living her dream. I guess I forgot that I'm kind of living my dream too. I'm a lucky gal.

-The boys raced their Pinewood Derby cars...they came in a solid 29th and 30th place (out of 30, ouch). You know, I tried really hard, but making cars is just not something I'm good at. The pack night was fun though. Great set up with a photo booth, staging area, and quick heats.

-We hosted a birthday party for GT #1. He invited 10 friends and cousins over for pizza and a movie. I thought the party would be fun, we had goodie bags and popcorn, and projected the movie on the wall. A lot of the boys invited did not behave well though. They threw popcorn around and were rude and loud. I was pretty disappointed, as was the birthday boy. In the future we will not be hosting movie parties, I guess they are just not exciting enough.

-I got to go with some great friends to Time Out For Women in Salt Lake City. I had a fantastic time hanging out and spending the night with 3 awesome ladies. I'm so glad they invited me. {insert picture of us having a fun time}
-We celebrated Thanksgiving Day with the Gunderson's this year. Good company and food were both in abundance. I'm pretty sure I need to state for posterity sake that Gary can make some awesome gravy. We headed to Baugh's afterwards for pie. All in all a pretty good day. And look how well we clean up...
