Good Thing #1-
He requested german pancakes for breakfast and pizza for dinner. Our Gunderson grandparents joined us for dinner, rootbeer floats and presents. He was happy to receive a couple of lego sets. He was less happy about the new clothing he received. Sure you can't build with 'em but he's lookin' a lot nicer.
Good Thing #5-
Poor baby almost didn't get a thing for his birthday. However, 2 of his siblings both commented that I needed to hang the birthday sign up, and others asked what we were going to do. My MIL also offered to bring dinner over and a cake. In the end, he got a celebration we all loved. We visited Two Jacks and had cake later. We enjoyed having our Gunderson grandparents join us for dinner. Good Thing #3 thoroughly enjoyed opening his brothers gifts and immediately took over the two little people trucks he received. Pesky brothers.
I'm so happy to have these two boys in our family, and was glad to think back on the last years with my oldest and the last year with my youngest. I'm a pretty lucky mom.
