February Wrap-Up

Here's everything you all missed this last month...

Good Thing #1 had his second grade program. The kids sang songs from each decade from the 20's- "Putting on the Ritz" to today- "We're All in This Together." I've got to mention, I'm not a big music listener these days, but I did impress my son earlier in the month when he was practicing his program songs and I knew every one. He would start one and I would join in, then try to trick me by starting another one, which I would then sing along with. Thank you 7th grade show choir, girls camp, and dance class for helping me show my son that I haven't lived my whole life under a rock. The program was pretty cute as school programs go, totally beat the first grade fish program from last year (which incidentally I have to go to again next week). GT #1's class danced the twist. I'll spare you the video.

Good thing #1 also got new glasses. In his words: Bad-
All Right-
100 times better!

We enjoyed a trip to the African Savanna.

And my dad will be running for the state legislature again. The kids and I went to his "announcement." Good Thing #1 led everyone in the Pledge of Allegiance. I was one proud momma.

I love this funny picture. The kids sure don't look very excited. They must be upset with the current legislature, also.

And finally, we all missed Gabe this month. He was working very hard. We did what we could to spend time with him when we was home. Love ya dear!
