These have been my best (and most expensive) shoes to date. I really felt special in them. Isn't that dumb? (Especially if you've seen me run, I'm not much to look at). I recently replaced them with a cheaper, but still comfy, set. I will miss them though. Goodbye dear friends.

Goodbye
I have very few items of clothing that I really care about. I count my running shoes as one of those items. The other day while on the treadmill I kept feeling like I had a pebble in my shoe. Half way through I finally took my shoe off to take care of it. I knew my shoes were gettting old, but I was surprised to see that I had worn a hole through.

I totally get the running shoe thing! I held on to my last, expensive pair for 4 years before I finally conceeded to getting a new affordable pair. Mostly because they were so worn that it caused injury. I still miss them. *sigh*
